IFAN’s CEO, Peter Stanley, and MENAS General Manager, Mahdi Al Mosawi, were pleased to be invited to the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) in Taunton to meet the National Hydrographic and Director of Data Acquisition and Defence, Rear Admiral Rhett Hatcher, alongside Head of Partnering and Engagement of the UKHO in the Middle East and Africa, Tim Lewis. The UKHO team were keen to improve collaboration with IFAN and MENAS, particularly covering Maritime Safety Information training.
Mr Stanley, IFAN CEO, said: “We look forward to forming a closer relationship with UKHO. Joining forces and uniting is key to improving safety in the maritime sector.
